Troop 1 Meguro celebrated its 65th Anniversary at Yukoden (Grand Hall) of Yutenji Temple on Sunday, 31st May 2015. The weather forecast of the day was raining but, it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day, just as though the Sun joined our celebration.

Scouts of all age groups, leaders, Committee members, and parents were all gathered. One of the biggest supporters of troop 1 Meguro, Mr. Aoki, our City Mayor, came together with his fellow members of Meguro Committee to celebrate our anniversary. A hundred people were attended.

After the break, the second session started with very nice and tasty lunch followed by 65 years history of Troop 1 Meguro slide show, presented by Mr. Kenichiro Tanabe, vice president of Troop 1 Meguro who has been with Troop 1 Meguro for a long time. It was really something for Scouts and parents to see the photos how Troop 1 Meguro has established and also found leaders in the photos when they were Cub Scouts/Boy Scouts enjoying camps just like we are.
